Diversity teaches dancing

For us, it enriches dance when people come together who are physically different. In the workshop we will explore what constitutes this enrichment. We will explore bodywork, partner exercises and improvisation on the inspiring sounds and rhythms of certain traditional West African instruments, their power and poetry. We will be guided in such a way that all participants can dance together and experience a new kind of encounter through the connection between dance and music. Previous dance experience, different ages, cultural imprints and disabilities of any kind are welcome but not required. In addition to dance, the workshop also includes a first introduction to inclusive teaching.
