Jared Meier-Klodt is a German-Ghanaian multi-disciplinary musician, composer and performer. Born in Accra, Ghana, he grew up in Russia, Germany and the USA. His musical journey began with classical piano lessons; later he performed in formations of various genres from electropunk to noise rock and experimental techno. He is a founding member of Jay Jay, a music production and mentoring initiative, and the recording studio Bye Bye World, which focuses on producing records and writing music. At the heart of his practice is a deep artistic and musical exploration of the roots of multicultural identity.
