Jérôme Kaboré, Wendinmi was born and raised in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso. He developed his passion and curiosity for dance at an early age and took part in numerous dance competitions. In 2000, he joined the Téguéré company, where he was trained by the late Souleyman Porgo; his training is characterised by traditional African dances in general and those of Burkina Faso in particular.
Film collaborations with Dani Kouyaté and Fanta Régina Nacro; supported by Irène Tassembédo. Under Eric Mézino, he is catapulted onto the hip-hop scene with Cie E.GO. 2009 Participates in the European Union funded training programme as a choreographer at the Sand School in Toubab Dialow. Created his own company “Wendinmi” in Burkina Faso and created his first solo “Sook-ba”, which premiered at the Dialogue de Corps festival. Assistant to Salia Sanou and dancer in the company Mouvements perpétuels. Other collaborations include Alassan Congo, Dani Kouyaté, Seydou Boro, Souleymane Babolo and Olivier Tarpaga.
