Kossi Sebastien Aholou-Wokawui grew up in Togo and studied traditional and contemporary African dance as well as modern and jazz dance in various ensembles. Since 2012 Aholou-Wokawui has been working continuously with the steptext dance project and has danced in Helge Letonja at home and abroad.
2018 he choreographed the dance duo “Dans la peau de l’autre” with Tomas Bünger, which was performed in Dhaka, Bangladesh, Lomé, Togo and Bremen. Aholou-Wokawui leads workshops in contemporary Afro-dance and organises transcultural youth workshops.
