Órla Fiona Wittke studied theatre and performance at the Free University of Berlin and Trinity College Dublin. During her studies, she focused her academic research on performances that take place in spaces away from the “traditional” theatre stage, such as performance installations, live art, happenings, LARP and performances in digital spaces.

Órla has been working for the artistic director’s office at Berliner Festspiele since the end of 2024 and is also active in the freelance art scene.

In 2025, she founded the performance collective BEAST together with Kiki Drost. In August, the project ‘Baby AI’ premiered at the Kleiner Wasserspeicher in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Órla also works as a dramaturge for theatrum litfaßsäule and as 2nd AC for music video and short film productions.

Órla first worked for Kuyum Arts gUG at the Kuyum Dance Platform 2024 and is happy to be back in 2025 as a production assistant.
