Sandra Noeth is a professor at the HZT – Inter-University Centre for Dance Berlin and works internationally as a curator. Her work focuses on ethical and political perspectives on body practice and theory as well as dramaturgy in body-based performing arts. Her current artistic-theoretical research and publication projects deal with the role, status and agency of bodies in border processes; the relationship between art, bodies and unequal protection policies; the embodiment of violence; the performativity of class dynamics in the arts; and the ambivalent status of the body in international human rights law.
