Kossi Sebastien Aholou-Wokawui, dancer/choreographer and dance teacher from Togo, takes you into the world of Afro-Somatic technique.Afro-Somatic is a deconstruction of African dance with Afro-Urban expression, a synthesis of traditional dances of West Africa, Western contemporary dance, and Caribbean dance (Haiti/Cuba…), where you will dance with the feeling of a free body, open mind, and fluidity!

This technique is a constant dialogue with the cosmos and nature, working above all with rootedness, breathing, and the flexibility of the spine.

It is based on energy, rhythm, earthy grounded movement, and the strongest elements of African dance with a special focus on improvisation and the interaction between music and dance.
