Issiaka Moussa from Togo has been dancing since childhood. At the age of 17, he decided to turn his passion into a profession. In Togo he was trained in traditional West African and contemporary dance. He worked for a long time in Togo and Senegal and went to dance residencies in Berlin (2008) and in South Korea (2010).
He has worked with several international dance companies (including Theatrolibero Hamburg, 1er Temps with Andreya Ouamba, Jant-bi in Senegal) with many international choreographers (including Kyung eun Lee from South Korea, Dan Tchekpo from Germany, Merlin Nyakam from France/Cameroon, Opiyo Okach) Among others he is the director of Gamissa Dance Company Hamburg. He also worked on several intercultural projects, gave numerous workshops and dance classes in Asia, Africa and Europe. Since 2011 he works as an actor and assistant director with the theater FOLLOWN which are very successful in Hamburg. In addition, since March 2015, he participates in the play “Die Stunde da wir nichts voneinander wußten” at the Thalia Theater Hamburg.
