My name is Thomas Kunfira. I was born in Ghana. For over 10 years I have been working at different schools, kindergartens, youth centres and dance schools as a course instructor for dance, breakdance, acting and acrobatics. In addition to my experience as an artist, with the group Adesa, with which I was allowed to travel through many different countries as an artist for several years.
I attach great importance to the teaching of social skills in my working groups. In
an artistic way, I work out the abilities and talents of each individual young person in order to strengthen self-esteem and self-confidence. For this reason, among other projects, I accompany every year the Reiner Meutsch Foundation “fly and help” as an acrobat, which builds schools in developing countries through donations. As an artist, I am also part of Europe’s largest Africa Festival in Würzburg.
Last year I took part with my group “Afrobatic” in the casting show “Das Supertalent” of RTL, where we made it to the semi-finals. In 2019 I was allowed to perform as an artist at the “Fest des Bundespräsidenten” at Schloss Bellevue in Berlin. I can also be seen annually at the FEZ Theatre in Berlin as an actor and jump acrobat.
